gmail remains signed in even after clear data and clear history in which everything is deleted, hows that possible in private browsing? Whats private in private browsing if cookies remain and websites share cookie data among themselves despite closing and reopening private window? There is no display of cookie and data exchange and no appropriate recommendation of safe firefox extensions & updates on extensions and other components that might have compromised

Your ‘logged-in’ status is stored in special cookies. If the cookie is removed, you are logged out.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on Cache, Form And Search History and whatever else you want.
