firefox does not print
when I try to print, nothing happens. when I try to show print peview an empty space is being displayed. I tried to follow the advise from Mozillazine (about:config, locate print.print_printer and right click for preferences). When I right click on print.print_printer or any other config items nothing happens-no preferences are displayed. on other web pages right click is successful.

As far as not having a right-click menu in about:config -
Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
