cannot get browser but mywebsearch instead,WOT warning.
I was running Firefox, when one day WOT flashed on my screen and Mywebsearch home page was shown in the title bar. WOT was on and told me the site had a bad reputation. I cannot get Firefox homepage . I removed Firefox, and downloaded it again but still got the same problem. I want to get rid of mywebsearch engine and get Firefox back, since I like it, and have been using it for a year now.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
If not, see this:

Which version of Firefox do you have (Help > About)?
Your More system details list shows an old Firefox 3.6 version with a SPOENB/1.0 addition that may indicate a corrupted user agent:
- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 SPOENB/1.0
You can check:
If you have the Firefox 3.6 version then you should update via Help > Check for Updates.
Other things that need your attention:
Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks that you should update.
- Shockwave Flash 10.1 r85
Update the Flash plugin to the latest version.
I have tried everything to get rid of MyWebSearch in my address bar. Malware, Spyware, Registry advice, safe mode, you name it. Nothing and I mean nothing gets rid of it. It tries to disguise itself but when you search from the mian mozilla/firefox address; it is there with a little square dotted line box. It is driving me crazy. I have uninstalled Firefox 2 to 3 times and when reinstalled; it is there. It appears to me that it is stuck in Firefox....why can't I get rid of it? Please help me.
See this Google search for "remove MyWebSearch"
Basically, the place to start is to try and figure out what program or application you installed that carried that Malware with it, and installed MyWebSearch on your PC. Then restart your PC and see if that MyWebSearch is still in Firefox. It looks like you may have to mess around in the Windows Registry in some cases to totally remove it.
I have gone in the registry over and over. Still do not know. I am going to delete Social Monkee and see if that is it. I am at a loss but SM was downloaded lately so it could be it???? Thank you for your reply.
