Hey all,

since a couple of days Firefox (V. 9.0.1) crashes every time I open a video website or a site that contains "animated adds". I already tried to - start in the save mode - deinstall all plugins - reinstall FF (also made a "clean reinstall") - update/reinstall the Flash player - create a new profile

but the problem persists. I'd appreciate any help to fix this issue!

Thanks in advance, mirantes

I am unable to open any youtube files with firefox 9. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled the latest version. Installed the latest adobe 11 flash player and I still can not get the youtube files to open. Just a black box with no play, pause or other buttons. Preparing to leave firefox if the problem is not corrected. Frank

Thx for your answer mha007, unfortunately it didn't help. My plug-ins are all up to date, Cache empty, cookies deleted and I disabled the hardware accelaration, but still FF freezes as soon as I open youtube or any other video channel :(
