I just installed Firefox 31.0. I received the message that Norton Toolbar 2014.7.2.6 is incompatible. My Norton Identity Safe is not working. I have tried the corrections mentioned for earlier Firefox versions, but they did not work.

Thanks for the link. Although my problem is not truly solved, this showed that the needed update is not yet available. I'll continue to monitor the link. So I'll mark this as solved for the time being.

See Norton for an updated version of their Firefox extensions. Usually running the Norton Live Update (sometimes repeatedly) retrieves the updated versions.

The toolbar version you have is not compatible with Firefox 31.0 you mean.

The old 2014.7.2.6 was a Norton update for Firefox 30.0

For Firefox 31.0 see http://community.norton.com/t5/Product-Update-Announcements/Firefox-31-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/ba-p/1155994

Did not work. Appears that the needed update is not available yet.

The link shows the update for Firefox 31.0 is indeed available from Norton since July 21.

However if you are using the Comcast supplied version of Norton Security Suite then yes it is not available yet as my earlier link and this thread shows. http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-31-and-the-Comcast-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/1159906
