Is there a User Chrome code that will put the View function from the Menu Bar into either the Overflow Menu or Hamburger Menu?
Is there a User Chrome code or an aboutfig. tweak that will put the View function from the Menu Bar into either the Overflow Menu or Hamburger Menu?
It is to my understanding this was a port that failed when Firefox took that game-changing update a while back. That said--it's a feature I use often and it would be nice if that function could be moved into what has become a more accessible way of using the browser's tools.

Hi springheel, as far as I know, there's no way using CSS to transplant a portion of one bar into a spot on the other.
What are the features/functions on the View menu that you need better access to?
- View > Toolbars =>
- right-click the new tab button or a blank area of the tabs bar
- Customize is on the application menu
- Sidebars =>
- there is a toolbar button for this
- Zoom =>
- most of this is on the application menu, except Zoom Text Only
- Page Style =>
- this is not on any other menu as far as I know
- Text Encoding =>
- there is a toolbar button for this, although I don't know how comparable it is
- Full Screen =>
- this is on the Zoom row on the application menu

The page style.
I like to strip the code sometimes. I'm visually handicapped and sometimes a page is just too busy, visually, for me to read, so I strip the style and it makes it easier for me to when it's simply text. It's also a little easier to use caret browsing as well.
If that function were in the Overflow or Hamburger menu I wouldn't need to have the Menu bar itself open at all.

This helps and is certainly more convenient, yet it doesn't work on say--this page. But it does work on my utilities website as well as my ISP. And to some degree on Amazon. I would reason that this page is stitched together with frames and that is why it won't alter the look of it, it simply alters the background & text.
But it works well enough for me and already use Sylus when & where applicable.

All Mozilla and Github websites have very strict CSP rules that prohibit injecting scripts on their pages and this prevents WebExtension from working properly. For such websites you would have to use code in userChrome.css to style such pages.

Also, to drop the View menu without having the bar displayed, you can use either:
- Alt+v
- Alt (then) v
Ah, that's interesting. I wish I was more adept at the user Chrome, but I'm glad I've been able to what I have been able to do with it to customize the browser.
I try to get by with as few add-ons as possible, generally only ones which help with my disability. the "no style" was a function I've always used. I don't believe it's even available in IE or Chrome, but something I stumbled on a long time ago and it was quick & easy.
However, the "view" from this add-on I feel is a little better because some elements of the page are still there; that is to say it'snot totally stripped down into a stack of links, frames, and what not.
I give Mozilla this: it has always made things more handicap accessible than the other browsers, in my opinion.
