My IMAP server changed dns names. Server name updated and looks right, but Thunderbird is still trying to use the old server.

My IMAP server has changed from mail.abc.mysever.com to mail.def.myserver.com. It has simply moved to a different subnet.

As expected, I updated the server name to mail.def.myserver.com under the account server settings and restarted Thunderbird.

When I try an open the mail folder, I'm getting "Could not connect to mail.abc.myserver.com".

Is there a connection cache somewhere that needs to be deleted?

Something appears to have timed out. After 30 minutes or so I was prompted for the password and all is well.
