When watching a youtube video on firefox browser (only) i can not progress the video by sliding the video progress bar backwards or forwards, its completely non responsive.

i click the progress bar and try to drag it and it does nothing.

keep in mind this works perfectly fine in Edge and Opera.

Step 1: Open YouTube on mobile and go to your profile. Step 2: Navigate to Settings > History and privacy. Step 3: Tap on Clear watch history and reset it across all the connected devices.

Did that earlier, to no avail.

So is this Windows 11 desktop or mobile? You posted on Windows Desktop O/S and that isn't a mobile O/S.

Did you try with Firefox in Safe Mode? What security software are you running?

I just use windows defender, I did attempt firefox in safe mode, uninstalled addons/extensions even though they worked previously without issues, reinstalled after it didnt fix the problem.

If you can create a gif or record your desktop and show the issue, that would be a big help. I use OBS to record, upload to YouTube, and then share a link.

Also, can you see if you have the same issue under a different Windows account?
