I was scrolling through my email on Yahoo looking for a particular item when the page suddenly jumped and the scroll bar disappeared and the font became so small I could hardly read it. So I closed it out and tried again. No change, but then my FF all of a sudden started jumping with the task bars disappearing off the top of my screen. If I place my curser at the top of the screen the bars move down so I can click the back arrow, but the Menu button is totally gone and the red X and other buttons on the right are tiny. The bookmark icon is now on my desktop and when double clicked a long blue list with descriptions drops down. What's happening?

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

Check that you aren't running Firefox in Full Screen mode (press F11 to toggle).
