All my saved logins have disappeared
My Firefox browser crashed so I had to re-install it but I have now lost my saved logins (passwords). I have the logins.json & Key3.db files, how do I restore them ?

Did you get the logins.json & Key3.db files from another profile, or from the current? Are there other profiles in the user folder?
Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?

Yes I got logins.json & Key3.db from another (older) profile. I also had an even older profile that I tried as well but still no logins. I shoudn't really need to do this anyway because I have all the passwords sync'd to a couple of other Firefox browsers on other Pc's. But even though I log into my Firefox account with my email address and password the logins still do not appear even though all my bookmarks are there.
Go to one of the other computers with a thumb drive and copy those files to the thumb.
These can't get your data back, but will help in the future.
These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox
FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backups of files that you choose.
