Remove all traces of Babylon!!!

more options

I have already gone thru the about:config steps and searched for Babylon and reset all entries and this has stopped Babylon from hijacking my New tab but can't delete the extensions from that view. This is the only place these are visible and I want to remove them. Does anyone have an idea how to remove them?

Often some of the software is installed globally, it may even affect other browsers on your computer, and it may have to be uninstalled from the Windows Control panel.

Once you have found and uninstalled all the unnecessary related software you will need to deal with the settings that have been changed. You may find the restartless add-on SearchReset is usefull for that purpose https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/

It would be interesting to know what it was that your Babylon came bundled with, and what problem software is that you have found already.
