I started up Firefox on my Windows 11 machine and everything is gone, open tabs, bookmarks, history, passwords. The app as acting like a fresh install. It was working fine in my previous session a week ago prior. That was also the last time I started up my laptop.

Is there a way to get Firefox back to the way it was? Or at least get my information back?

I figured it out. I found a YouTube video about creating profiles. It looks like Firefox created a new profile for me. That’s is why all my settings were gone. Following the video I logged into the original default profile which had all my tabs, bookmarks, etc.

To get to the profile menu on PC press the Windows key + R. In the run window that opens type “Firefox -p”. Then press the return key.
