Often when I am on a website and I click on a link directly, (Indicating that I want Firefox to open the page in the window I am currently in.) The link address will appear on the navigation bar and Firefox will start to load the page, I even sometimes get a glimpse of the new page, and then almost instantly reverts back to the page I was on . The same thing happens if I paste the link in the address bar. This has been happening since January with every version. If I right click and open in a new tab then it will load the page I am trying to get to.

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...
