I recently changed the screen resolution of some of the text elements in Windows itself after eye surgery and now FF doesn't display pages correctly, I did have the NoSqint add-on which worked perfectly before installed, but I disabled it and re-started FF and it doesn't make a difference. I have screen shots of what I am talking about; it's easier to see than to explain.

I have no problems with other programs.

Chosen solution

You may have zoomed web page(s) with zoom text only.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl/Command+0 (zero))

If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.

  • Tools > Options > Content Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  • Tools > Options > Content Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.

Thank you for your quick reply. The following section of your solution was the relevant one that solved the problem: __________________________________ If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.

Tools > Options > Content Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts. __________________________________ I did not change this myself; I don't know how it got changed. I did have NoSquint enabled, but disabled it when I started having this problem. I did not want to introduce another variable. I will re-enable it as it has always worked well before.

And again, thanks!
