I have had Thunderbird email for many years. A new version was downloaded. When I restarted my computer, I could no longer access my email account. I don't know what my sign in information is as it's been probably 9 years. It says it will send it to me at my email address, but I cannot access my account. I tried requesting it with my Gmail account but did not get any response.

No one here knows your log in info either. That is between you and your email provider. Most providers have a password reset function on their email help page.

You need to work with your provider to get your log in fixed and working.
