Sending of username did not succeed. Mail server pop.verizon.net responded: Authentication failed
I have TB 45.4.0. with 4 email accounts...All verizon. All worked until this afternoon. My main email account stopped working. I am getting the error above My daughters worked for 4 hours longer but now she is getting the same error
The remain 2 accounts still are functioning properly I have compared the email settings between the 2 that work and the 2 that do not. All are the same with exception of accountname and username
INCOMING: pop.verizon.net, 995, SSL, Normal Password OUTGOING: smtp.verizon.net, 465,SSL, Normal Passowrd
The 2 that do not work with TB, I can use the webmail and it appears to be fine (username and password)
I tried the full email in the user name, that did not work
I looked at the files in the individual mail folders but nothing was obvious between the ones that work and the ones that do not
If all 4 were not working, it would be easier to understand. But 2 working and 2 not, especially when it happened this afternoon
Any suggestions?

This gets better. My main account is now working again. I never changed anything. My daughter's account is still having the same issues. No explanation
did you not migrate your accounts to AOL
