Some time ago (I think it was early to mid 2016) Mozilla mentioned about a user contribution that inserted an image in the blank area above the tabs. In this case, it was an image of a sleeping kitten. I wanted to get this for another person but could not find it in the Add-ons web page of Mozilla under the appearance hyperlink. Does anyone know how to get this customization? Thank you in advance for whatever help you could provide.

You may have installed a lightweight theme (Persona). You can uninstall this theme and revert to the 'Default' theme (Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
