I extracted the tarball for firefox quantum to /opt/firefox/ and now I don't know where to put libflashplayer.so for it to load. I followed this guide on reddit to get firefox quantum on opensuse. But now i Just don't know where to put libflashplayer.so ples help

A easy way is to create a folder named plugins in /home/username/.mozilla/ and place the libflashplayer.so file in plugins folder there.

If Firefox was still running when you do this then either restart Firefox or type about:plugins in the Location (address) bar so Firefox will scan for it.

Also keep in mind this method of Plugins install will need to be manually updated as new Flash Player versions come out.

And since you are using the tarball version of Firefox from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ make sure the Firefox folder has read/write permissions for the user so Firefox can get updates.
