The saved full html file appears briefly and then disappears when I try to reload a saved webpage on my HD. This is in Windows10. It does not happen in XP. The file is all there on my HD but it won't open.

When I save and try to reopen in Chrome, The same thing happens in Chrome. Page appears briefly then disappears.

You may have the HTML file but what about the CSS pages that make it work The HTML maybe written so it does not know where to call for the CSS which would still be on the website. Save As and make a Folder then Save. This page for example when do that you get the HTML then another folder with 13 other files. CSS and java a png file.............

Can also try this program, has been around for years : https://www.httrack.com/
