'spell check as you type' has stopped after a firefox reset. Before y'all point me at the help files, I've tried all the ones I could find. 'spellcheck as you type' IS selected in options. I've reinstalled the recomended British dictionary AND language add-on. Nadda. When I try activating the dictionary by right-clicking in a multi-line text box as instructed... no dictionary or language options are listed.

Chosen solution

You can try to uninstall and reinstall the dictionary to see if that has effect.

Maybe try to uninstall the current WebExt version of this dictionary and install previous regular 2.67 (or 2.66) version from the versions page.

Spell checker uses Dictionaries while the Language pack is a option for those who want one Firefox install but be able to change the language of the User Interface or UI.

Note that we have seen other reports where the WebExtension version of this dictionary wasn't working.

installing an older dictionary did the trick. Thanks
