The reports tend to be useless if it is a data aggregator that has been hacked. A place I've never been, though a username and password has. If I've never have an account what good are the remedy listed?

Hi wsgross, when a data broker has a breach, there usually isn't any action you need to take to secure an account, but you are informed of what details leaked out that might be used in a social engineering attack to better impersonate you or an institution you have a relationship with.
