I have two Thunderbird accounts for my wife and self. Her account is now asking for a new password but password has been in password manager since 2017. Using this password does not work. My Thunderbird E-Mail account works just fine.

Did something change with the account, e.g. two-step verification was imposed, but an app password wasn't created and used in TB in place of the previous password? What if you delete the password from Saved Passwords, restart TB, and enter the correct password when prompted?
