I would like to disable Firefox Lockwise and revert to the original password manager. Previous posts suggested using about:config to edit the signon.management.overideURI. However, this line does not exist in my config. I am using Firefox version 77. If I cannot get back to the original password manager I am sorely tempted to remove Firefox 77 and install an older version!

The code for the old password manager (passwordManager.xhtml) has been removed in Firefox 77, so it is no longer possible to switch to the old layout.

You can look at this mozillaZine thread on how to restore support for passwordManager.xhtml:

The suggested solution that you have read was only ever meant to be temporary when the new Firefox Lockwise system was first added to Firefox. It was always the plan to remove the legacy logins and password viewer entirely, which is what has happened.

Is there a particular issue that you have with the Firefox Lockwise system or something that you want changed about it?

It's NEVER RECOMMENDED TO RUN OLD VERSIONS OF FIREFOX since that will leave you exposed to a ton of well-documented security and privacy issues that are fixed in the newer versions of Firefox.

Thanks for the response. It does not help me - I want to be able to view ALL my logins and passwords in a single page - NOT one at a time!

Firefox 66 here I come!

If you don't find a third party script or program you can trust, you can run a script in Firefox's Browser Console to spit out the list in CSV or JSON format. For example:

CSV: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1253828 (copy/paste from console)
