I just migrated to Thunderbird 78.3.1. I also just migrated to macOS Catalina 10.15.7. When Thunderbird is active, and I pull down the Thunderbird menu, and click on one of the items (for example, About Thunderbird), nothing happens. The other pull-down menus (such as File) seem to be working fine.

Is it the same in safe mode (hold Option when launching TB)?

Problem persists in 78.4.0.

Thanx for the suggestion, sfhowes. I tried in safe mode (now in 78.4.0); no difference.
