I am getting messages about a problem with a calendar script not working. I do not use the Thunderbird calendar. I think it finds dates and times in my emails and wants to do something with them.

an error in that script is not an indication it is slowing your computer, only that is is timing out because you computer is slow. Mostly these issues come around to anti virus scanning of email storage locations that they should not be scanning while in use. What anti virus do you use.
