Using FF 88. I'm trying to use a Custom Image with the Top Sites icons, but I can't get any to load? What URL is FF asking for? I tried using the full path name for images I have on my Mac, but nothing happens.

Are there clear instructions that someone can point me to? Thank you.

Ah ha!!! Size of image...that got me thinking and I've solved the issue: I went to Icon Archive (https://iconarchive.com/) and found the image (the large png file) that I wanted; click on the png file, and Copy Image Link and paste that into the Custom Image URL in FF To Site edit.

Thank you very much for helping...your comment on a file size problem was perfect.!!

A custom image only work with a URL that point to image image hosted on a website (https:// or http:// URI) and not with a local image (file:// URI).

Thank you for the information (as disappointing as it is). Can you give me an example/link of how to load a custom image?

As a test, I took a Top Site icon and used this URL from Google Images to create a custom image:

https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fpngtree.com%2Ffree-flower-clipart&psig=AOvVaw2TbpPLRk3_Pon9JZotEVtX&ust=1621440400697000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAIQjRxqFwoTCPCHhazO0_ACFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD

The icon still had no image.

Much thanx, Michael

It is possible that those images are too large and that there is a maximum for the dimensions of this icon.
