Accessing site page problems
Hi,
I am having a problem accessing pages (or popups, I'm not sure) on certain pages.
When I log into specific sites (e.g. Lightspeed, GoDaddy or Shopify) I have a problem opening certain areas. One of the obvious and annoying ones is when I try to access the Live Chat on Lightspeed. The chat is never available for me even though it is 24/7 (see image below showing chat unavailable), but I can access it if I log in on a New Private Window or use a different browser (see second image below, showing chat available).
Is this an easy fix? I tried adding the sites as exceptions but it made no difference, I am obviously missing something.
Thanks for your help. Samantha

You could try switching off Enhanced Tracking Protection. Go to one of the problem sites and click on the shield icon at the far left of the address bar. Otherwise, I would try troubleshoot mode (see second link below).

If you can access the feature on a private window, cookies and site settings may be to blame. You could try clearing them.

Thanks for your response, unfortunately that doesn't help. Tried clearing cookies etc. and it made no difference. I still can't access those areas. It is very frustrating, I want to be able to use Firefox but it's looking like I am going to have to switch to Edge or Chrome to be able to work on the regular sites I use.
Please if you know of any other options to fix this issue I'd love to know. Thanks

Thanks, I finally found the problem using the links you sent. It was the DuckDuckGo Extension. This is disappointing as I would like to be able to use DuckDuckGo. Do you have any suggestions/recommendations for fixing it so I can use it or a secure alternative to use? And thank you for your help!
