I want to download Firefox 3.6 onto Windows XP Sp3. I also have IE8 and Google Chrome installed. Do I need to keep the other two browsers after downloading Firefox 3.6?

My OS is Windows XP Sp3. IE is OEM. I downloaded Google's Chrome recently. I upgraded IE8 to IE9; had nothing but problems. Having to constantly install Security Updates, etc. So, I downloaded Google's Chrome 9; which I have had No problems with it. I had used Firefox with Facebook and liked it's functions. Now, I updated my Yahoo! email which recommends Firefox 3.6 for optimization of Yahoo! I want FIREFOX 3.6 to be my PRIMARY and ONLY browser. Can I safely uninstall Internet Explorer 9 and Google's Chrome 9 from my Windows XP Sp3?

TY dynamite for your time and assistance on this matter. I had exhausted my re-sources trying to find the answer(s). I knew I could uninstall Google Chrome, but was not to sure about Internet Explorer. I did as you suggested and just unin- stalled Google's Chrome and left IE alone. I have made Firefox 3.6 my Primary browser now. I am very happy. TY again. Have a great day!
