A client supplied an animated ticker gif for our website, however, when the gif is viewed with Firefox the animation is speeded up beyond readability. This has not happened before with similar gifs. Is this a problem going forward with animated gifs?

Is there a delay specified for that animation in the GIF image?

Firefox allows a much higher frame count than IE, so you need to check that.
