I have just installed the latest Firefox. The result of this has been the introduction of a new and extended Yahoo toolbar that contains what I think are APS egFACE BOOK. I will never use any of these and so they are just glueing up the screen with rubbish. Also Yahoo is trying to mimic any Google search that I do and is so confusing me. Deleteing Yahoo seems the answer that I need.

Where did you download Firefox from? The official version obtained directly from Mozilla doesn't come with the Yahoo Toolbar.

I downloaded the new version of Firefox from the screen that automatically appeared when I sign onto mozilla. There has been a yahoo toolbar at the top of my screen for a few years, but it has been very discreet and never active. This new one stands out like Blackpool illuminations and tries to mimic anything I do with Google. Also as I said, it contains what I think are aps that I don't want and will never use. So the whole thing is both confusing and annoying. I just want to be able to use Google and nothing else.
