does firefox support irc
GnuCash uses irc to ask questions. How does Firefox help with "doing" IRC? GnuCash says the following:
Prerequisite
You need a program which supports the IRC protocol. Many IRC applications exist. Probably one is on your computer already. If you find one neither on your computer nor on your installation media, you should search the Internet to find one fitting your environment.
Mibbit is a web-based IRC client. Pidgin (multi-platform, IM/messaging client with IRC-protocol support) XChat(multi-platform) Chatzilla (multi-platform Firefox extension) mIRC (Windows) Konversation (KDE) Kopete (KDE) Colloquy (OS X) Adium (OS X)

yes Firefox support irc...there are various irc software you can use..mibbit is a ajax web based irc client which you can try or we have a Firefox addon which name chatzilla
chatzilla is a free clean fast irc client/addon for Firefox.. After install addon run the irc url on your address bar which will autometically open by irc or if you dont install chatzilla Firefox ask you to run with Mibbit.
