  1. The information submitted with your question indicates that you are using Firefox 9.0.1, and out-dated/unsecure/no-longer-supported version of Firefox. The current version is Firefox 13.0.1 (Firefox 14 is scheduled for release on or about 2012-07-17). You should update to the current version
  2. Remove SweetIM from the installed programs/applications on your system:
  3. Reset your home page (if the SweetIM search page is displayed when starting Firefox): http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How+to+set+the+home+page
    • You can reset to the default by clicking "Restore to default" on Options > General > Startup > Home page. Be sure to set "When Firefox starts" to "Show my home page" on that same panel.
  4. Reset your Location Bar search engine (if typing a few words in the URL/Location Bar takes you to SweetIM search):
