Since installing Firefox V19.0 I have been getting occasional reminders to 'upgrade' to V17.0.3. How can I stop this nuisance?

There was never a "standard" release of 17.0.3, but there is a 17.0.3 in the "extended" release series. If you installed a standard release over an extended release, there might be a manual change required to correct the update settings. Hopefully someone familiar with ESR releases knows where that is.

If the scenario I've described sounds completely irrelevant, then "never mind."
