Is there a way to increase the size of Firefox cache? I am having to clear cache 4-5 times a day in order to play a game. This is really annoying.

And why do all Firefox answers only refer to Windows 8? That is very old and I've had Windows 10 for several years now.

You say that you have Windows 10 installed, but the User Agent that your Firefox installation transmits to the internet says that you have Windows 8. That is probably why you are getting answers for Windows 8 and not for Windows 10. This fora software for searches of the Knowledge Base defaults the the User Agent it reads as the KB pages load.

Hello djklaugh19,

Would you do this please :

Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter (promise to be careful, if asked)

Type in the search bar browser.cache.disk

and look for the preferences :

browser.cache.disk.capacity (maximum = 1048576; 1024 MB)

browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled = true

If you had to change anything, then close and restart Firefox.

You can check that you do not run Firefox in compatibility mode. You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.
