Firefox is still running on old parameters as 20 years back
The amount of space for Cached Web Content is still restricted to 1GB.
Since the time they have introduced to clear cache size this size is still the same. I reported this to firefox that in these modern age and introduction of heavy sites and faster pc there is a need to increase this cache size of firefox to atleast 10gb.
Within a day this cache size of 1gb gets filled fast and then every day i have to clear cache all the time.
Why cant firefox make necessary changes which is so back

You can increase it by yourself in about:config by increasing the value of the browser.cache.disk.capacity preference.
See also the comment in the Firefox source code about the browser.cache.disk prefs :
The disk cache size is dynamic and depends on how much free space is available. It starts at 50MB and maxes out at 1GB if you have over 25GB of free space. If you clear the cache on shutdown it will be limited to 150MB. There is no need to clear the cache when it gets full since it will just replace older cached items.
If you want to increase it with browser.cache.disk.capacity, you will need to disable browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled.
With fast internet the disk cache is not that useful, you can disable it without noticing much difference.
