I cannot open Thunderbird - not from the taskbar, not from the desktop shortcut, not from 'all programs' on the Start menu, not from the .exe file.

Running Windows 10 - the computer has been shut down and restarted dozens of times. I have not been able to open Thunderbird since Jan. 27th, 2022.

I *could* uninstall and reinstall, but I suspect I would then lose all of my addresses, and any e-mail which are not currently on the server.

I suggest a reinstall with no uninstall. TB may be corrupt. After reinstall, if TB does NOT open the profile, then close it, click windows icon on task bar, enter run and press enter and on next panel, enter thunderbird.exe -p and press enter. On next screen, click 'create profile' and locate and select profile and provide name to profile manager and continue to TB. (Your profile is probably at c:\\(yourname)\appdata\thunderbird\profile).
