Where is the download status?
As for me, it's ok that the status bar has been removed and that there now is an add-on bar. I don't really need the status bar anymore, so I have more screen space. However, there is no download status indicator anymore.
I don't want to use an add-on to get a download status. I simply want a draggable status field, so I can place it on top of FF, next to the menu bar.
Is it hidden somewhere? Or has it been forgotten? The download manager itself is NOT an option. I don't want an extra window open. I just want a simple information about the status of my downloads. It should be built in, as it was in FF3.6. So where is it in FF 4.0? I understand that it's not be found on the status bar anymore, as the status bar has been removed. But there should be a replacement for the download status indicator, or it should be relocated respectively. As I said, provide a button/field that can be dragged whereever you like to have it.

You can install the Status-4-Evar extension to regain some functionality from previous Firefox versions that was lost with the removal of the Status bar.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout" after you have installed the Status-4-Evar extension and drag the items (Status Text, Progress Meter, Download Status) upon the Add-ons Bar (View > Toolbars > [X] Add-on Bar)

I DON'T WANT A STATUS BAR. I SIMPLY WANT A DOWNLOAD STATUS INDICATOR WHICH I CAN PLACE WHEREVER I WANT.
