Hi Fryan,
Is this question related to the Firefox web browser, or for Firefox OS (Mozilla's mobile operating system)?
Thanks!!

It is the browser. But, this is the very least of my problems now. Since upgrading to 29.0.1 all formatting stripped out of hotmail outlook, facebook, twitter etc. Example, in Words with Friends the played letters appear but there is no puzzle grid or indicators for TW, DW etc. I rebooted, reverted to 28, went back to 29 all to no avail.
Hi fryan, Thank you for posting your question, you can change the font color and tab color with themes and customization.
Check out the themes offered in the add ons website: Firefox Themes
or try out the Customize button on the three horizontal line menu to change whether or not the title bar shows.
Thank you and please post back if this worked or you need more help.
This sounds dumb, but I've observed that Firefox now uses the background color for the Windows Desktop for toolbars. Edit your Desktop with Photoshop(or equivalent) to get the color you want, or look through Desktops to see if there's one you can tolerate.
Gosh, I was less than clear. I meant the wallpaper used by the desktop. Sorry.
Modified
You can consider to use a solid Persona (lightweight theme).
You can look at the Classic Theme Restorer extension to restore some functionality that was lost with the arrival of the Australis style in Firefox 29.
- Classic Theme Restorer: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
- You can check the settings of the CTR extension via its Options/Preferences button on the "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" page.
- You can find extra toolbar buttons in the Customize palette (3-bar Firefox menu button > Customize)
