I just downloaded Firefox because IE is horrible!

So, I put in to have my home page imported from IE, my home page being my gmail inbox. But when i click on the Firefox icon, a Google chrome page shows up and says something like "cookiemismatch" after all the google stuff in the address.

I am not very computer savvy.

All I want to do is open Firefox and have it go to my gmail inbox, and then I want to have all my "favorites" etc. moved onto Firefox.

Why is this so hard to do????????????????????????????????

Thanks for any help, from an old geezer.

Hi, did you successfully import your bookmarks from IE? If you need need more info on how to do it, please see - Import Bookmarks and other data from Microsoft Edge.

The problem with your home page is probably to do with cookies, so the best thing is to set up your home page again on Firefox. More info - How to set the home page.
