Unable to send mail
I receive emails fine but when I try to send I'm getting :- 1st a time out notification, then a box with 'unable to connect blah blah, and underneath 3 buttons Left one - Retry middle - Enter new password Right - Cancel.
This started a couple of weeks ago and I clicked the cancel button and the mail sent. Now it won't send at all. I've checked the smtp settings and they appear to be ok.

Are you using a slow internetconnection, sometimes you will get timed out, because the connection is bad. Keep me informed, this is important to me ok ?
Thanks for your reply but my internet connection is fine, currently at 80mbps download and 27mbps upload.
Cheers
Dave
A quick update. After a bit of trial and error the email is now showing in the sent folder, but its not being delivered. Another weird thing is when I forward/reply to an email all the content to be sent is framed in tiny red dots. This never happened before. Dave

Perhaps report the entire error message and someone will have an idea. blah blah does not help anyone in helping you.
Can't see why 'unable to connect to ISP - email addy' has any relevance to to the problem, but thanks anyway. If you look at the update it looks like I solved that problem, but like I said the email is NOT being deliverd to the recipient. Dave
Latest update Emails now showing in Sent folder but the only place they're delivering to is my ISP email account, which seems odd, any ideas? Also would a re-installation of Thunderbird solve the problem. Dave

Hola, reinstalling can always help. The red dots, can be the spelling correction. The other question about recipients, could be your messages are not being delivered because of reasons
