Hi all and greetings from OZ, yesterday got a message from Google in a pop up box in the Mozilla mail screen, "Mozilla Thunderbird want to send mail, delete mail, delete contacts etcetera....blah blah" and at the bottom of the box DENY button and ALLOW button. DENY button does not work as the box returns within 2 seconds and I cannot get rid of it and have no chance to read my inbox(es), anyone out there with a solution, never had it ever before yesterday and still there this morning, cheers Neil R

I would be very likely to suggest your email was a scam. But as any such email would be coming from Google. Log into your google account with a browser and check the history of security notifications. If the buttonjs do not work, contact Google.

If you are using Thunderbird and deny those permissions, then Thunderbird will simply fail to function as a mail client. So don't post here later about Thunderbird not getting mail, not syncing your calendar and contacts. You have chosen to prevent that happening by denying the required permissions.
