Why is the audio of MSNBC, YouTube and other site videos very low when using Firefox?
For several weeks now, when I view videos from msnbc.msn.com, youtube.com and other videos from other sites, the audio is so low....I can hardly hear it. But when I view the same videos using Google Chrome, the audio is very good.

Did you check the volume setting in the Flash player? Do those Flash players have a volume button that opens a slider? --- Clear the Flash cookies and settings. Flash Local Storage - http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html The Flash object on that page shows the local storage on your computer.
You can also delete the macromedia.com and #SharedObjects folders to reset all Flash cookies and settings. XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\ Vista: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\

Thanks Cor-el for the help. But really I am afraid to do anything based on your instructions coz I might make an error coz I'm not very good when it comes to these techie stuffs........and it might just add to my problem........but I will try it. It may just take a while for me to figure it out.
I just wonder...........how come the audio is very good when I use Chrome (but not with Firefox)?
Sorry, my second post seems to have ended up in the wrong thread and doesn't apply to your question. I've removed it. --- Did you check the settings in the Flash player?
Yes Cor-el, I have checked the settings in the Flash Player already. I have deleted some already (although there are just a few)..........And the result is still the same......the audio (using Firefox) is still very low.
Could it also be related to the problems concerning the Firefox version 3.6.3?
For the meantime, I just use Chrome whenever I'd watch any video from any site.
