Did mozilla send out a plugin update today? When i opened my browser thats what came up. The first update was for my canon digital. There were others--java, but i don't think that really installed. I did that first, then went back to the canon and when i clicked it wanted to install other stuff which i unselected with some difficulty. This is the time when updates roll out or id have been more careful. when the installation was complete my search engine, homepage, browser and who knows what had been hijacked. I was running avg and superanti spyware. I scanned for spyware and pup.funmoods vame up.23 items

If you have an older Java version (lower than 7U6 or 6U34) then Firefox may have disabled that Java version because of security vulnerabilities.

Oracle has released a Java update to fix a security vulnerability in Java 7U6 and 6U34 and lower versions that every user should apply.

Please update the Java JRE version to 7U7 or 6U35 because there is a security vulnerability in older versions.

See Java Platform > Java SE 7U7 or Java 6U35 (Download JRE)
