I've been trying to use links through steam & websites to read PDF documentation through Firefox (latest version) and every time the PDF opens, my Firefox crashes. I never had this issue before so I'm not sure what the cause can be, perhaps it's Firefox v3.6.3 causing it. I've tried support from other users posting this on forums and using Firefox support team suggestions while good ones, they all do not work. I am tempted at using Firefox v3.5.2 if I can't resolve this problem.

Your problem is caused by @AcroRd32.dll which is caused by an old version of Adobe Reader. Update this and you should be fine

Also there is a bug out for this so be careful

Thank you for your suggestion Moses. I uninstalled Adobe Reader and downloaded the newest version available, I then used the updated option to make sure it is up to date (v9.3.2).

I'm afraid to say when opening PDF through direct links, it still crashes my Firefox. I checked out the link in your message concerning this Adobe Reader bug that is causing Firefox to crash. So perhaps I may have to wait for a fix of some kind or wait to hear of another solution.

Thank you again for assistance.
