I'm trying to connect my Office365 account to Thunderbird, but am encountering some serious frustration. The IMAP settings are correct because I can receive mail just fine, but I can't send anything. My SMTP settings are set to smtp.office365.com and I've tried port 587 (the port that Office365 itself gives me), as well as autodetect (on port, encryption, and password). When I try to send an email with any SMTP config, it says "Connected to smtp.office365.com" and then just hangs there. After a while, I get a time out error. How do I fix this?

Aha! Office365's info is incorrect. I just changed both the IMAP and SMTP to *.outlook.com instead of *.office365.com and it seems to be working just fine. Hopefully this will help other people out.
