I used to use Firefox about 19 years or more The last two years..... FireFox was enable the auto-translate of Youtube videos in Arabic language automatically ........ Then it stopped working since four months

I thought that the "Improve Youtube extension" was the reason. I contacted the developer and said:

Its misunderstanding of the feature :( afaik as is today Improve Youtube will use the subtitle language to switch on CC if its provided in this language by video author, it doesnt switch auto-translate. Ill look into making it enable auto-translate if requested CC is missing.

Today I noticed that all videos have Arabic CC ..... Mmm, the feature has returned to work again! without any interference from me In order... to make sure the reason...... I disable all my FireFox extensions, and it is surprising that the automatic translation is still working and I recorded a video to see for yourself how to work directly once you enter the video

In your opinion, what is the explanation for that?

I know that YouTube has options for displaying / enable auto-translate always ... but it is only for the English language .... I am talking about the translation of the Arabic language in all videos Sooooo A feature from YouTube itself or what? And if it was, why did it stop in the past four months, and now it has returned to work?

I mostly use YouTube in their mobile app, and it's a little unpredictable for me when videos will have captions. Some videos have auto-generated captions, and some only have carefully made captions, and some have no captions. Google often experiments on some users with new features; maybe you are seeing a new feature?

Thank you Dropa, jscher2000

I don't know, maybe as you said, I tried using Opera GX and using a different Youtube account, but it didn't work as Firefox Then I logged with the same main account and this time also did not work, then I chose the Arabic language manually and then all the videos became contain "Arabic subtitle" ! I went back to my second account .... I chose Arabic language manually .... but when i open another video, nothing happens, This is really strange, It seems that something is related to the account

both of my accounts have the same settings on Youtube CC setting page https://www.youtube.com/account_playback
