Hello, I am trying to get Firefox on my iPad and in order to do this I need to set up a sync account but can not get passed even the first step. When the window tries to verify my email it reads: Unknown Error. I've tried various emails, capitalizing, not capitalizing etc. different browsers, different computers (Mac & PC). What is the deal?

Hi gunjaBeans,

Unfortunately, we have no plans to release the full Firefox browser for iOS (iPhone and iPad). This is because of restrictions set by Apple on how the browsers should run JavaScript.

However, you can use the following application to sync your Firefox bookmarks to your iPhone and iPad. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bookmarks-on-the-go/id550037184

For general info on Firefox Sync (including troubleshooting steps) read https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-sync-take-your-bookmarks-and-tabs-with-you

Thanks!
