Upgraded to Quantum ver 65.0.1 yesterday. Started getting the stop code error when exiting Firefox. Never got this or any other error code with previous version of Firefox. Noticed that Quantum 65 uses 41% of my 8 GB RAM. Windows 10 ver. 1803, OS Build 17134.590.

You have twice as much memory as I have and adding 8 GB more memory may solve my problem. I do not know why the new version 65 requires more memory. Perhaps, there are memory-hog new features that I don't need and maybe there is a way to turn them off. The 64-bit Firefox downloaded OK and is 334 MB and the Mozilla Maintenance Service is 595 KB.
