Lately Read apis.google.com has been showing in the bottom left corner of pages I am accessing and slows everything down. I DON'T WANT IT. I have already cleared cookies on this, but it came back. It is annoying and I think it is spyware. Never asked for it. Don't want it. Do you have any suggestions?

Try YesScript - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/yesscript/ - to blacklist that sub-domain.
