Firefox Constantly Crashing on Certain Websites
Firefox crashes on a website called Weebly when I log in. ( http://www.weebly.com/ ) Another place Firefox crashes is when I try to go to Firefox's Troubleshooting Information. It used to crash on here when I tried to post a question on the support forum. But when I access the support forum in safe mode it doesn't crash when I try to post something on here, but the other websites such as Weebly still do. Firefox isn't installing the automatic troubleshooting information correctly since I'm in safe mode. I can't manually put any troubleshooting information in the box below either, because when I go to the troubleshooting information page, Firefox crashes. Sorry for the inconvenience but if you need information just ask and I'll tell you it. I may need instructions on how to get this information though. I've already tried resetting Firefox and uninstalling it and reinstalling it. If you want me to reset Firefox again I can't since I can't access the troubleshooting information page.
I've already tried using this support article to fix my issue and it doesn't help: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help?esab=a&s=firefox+crashes&r=0&as=s
And thank you for the help...

Yay I figured out how to fix my issue! I ran the program compatibility troubleshooter on Windows 7. I then selected to run Firefox under Windows XP Service Pack 3 settings and now my issues are fixed.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit)
I've already disabled Hardware Acceleration and that hadn't helped. Sorry I didn't mention that before. Anyways, I figured out that the Troubleshooter 1.1a add-on to automatically add troubleshooting information was making Firefox crash when going to post a question in the Mozilla support forum. Although I'm still having problems with Weebly and getting to the troubleshooting page for Firefox. I've tested all the extensions and plugins to see if they caused my issues.

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
Sorry I wasn't more specific. I did test the extensions and plugins one at a time. First I tested the extensions one at a time and then I tested the plugins. That's how I determined that the Troubleshooter 1.1a add-on was making Firefox crash when trying to post a question in the forums. I've created a new profile on Firefox and tested it and both the troubleshooting information page and Weebly still crash.

I have a similar situation. Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and Firefox has crashed at least a couple dozen times today and nearly as many yesterday. I've tried all of the suggested "fixes", to no avail. I just tried the Windows compatibility tool mentioned immediately above and even that didn't resolve the issue. I'd love to post the links to my crash reports, but can not get to this page on the computer in question - any time I try to load any Firefox or Mozilla help page, forum, etc. in that computer, Firefox crashes (even when running Firefox in Safe Mode). If anyone can tell me how to copy the crash reports from the computer having the problems to this one, I'll be glad to do it and post them here. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!
Hi cassiecat, If you have telemetry on then Firefox should send performance data to the Mozilla Firefox teams to see how well Firefox is performing. I'm not 100% sure if it sends crash reports though... To read more about telemetry and how to enable it go here: [http://mzl.la/10wmy9X]
B-Dubs, Thank you for your response. I've opted in to "send information" and all crash reports have been sent to Mozilla. It's been several days that this has been happening, so I thought I should search the forums to see what I could find out. I've been getting some help in response to a question I posed in response to an inquiry on a Mozilla self help thread, but still no joy.
I tested the websites in Firefox 3.6 and they worked fine. Maybe it's just a change that was implemented between Firefox 3.6 and Firefox 24?
